This month has seen Nelly join the ranks at AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts) LA as Advisory Board Member.
AIGA is a professional association for design and within her role at AIGA LA Nelly will be committed to furthering excellence in design as a broadly-defined discipline. AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts) is where design professionals turn to first to exchange ideas and information, participate in critical analysis and research and advance education and ethical practice.
Nelly has previously worked with AIGA – presenting at the 2015 National AIGA conference and you can watch the video here.
Of her appointment, Nelly says: “It is a pleasure and great honor to join the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) as Advisory Board Member for AIGA Los Angeles. I truly believe in the uniqueness of this chapter and support its mission and future plans. I will work with the AIGA team in developing the chapter’s curriculum to better encompass broader design landscapes and educational reach. It is most urgent to work creatively together and to engage our skillsets to support the young generations in their attempt to build a fair and decent world, especially in the current political context.”
