UPDATE: Unfortunately, Gather Festival 2020 has been postponed in response to the global COVID-19 pandemic.

Exciting news: Nelly Ben Hayoun will be a Keynote Speaker at the Gather Festival 2020, taking place on the 27th and 28th of May 2020! If you’re in Stockholm, be sure to book your tickets in advance – Early Bird tickets have already sold out and there are a limited number of student and second release tickets available. Nelly will be one of three keynotes at the festival, alongside award-winning Hong Kong journalist Vivienne Chow and Jan Eliason, former Deputy Secretary-General to the United Nations.

Gather Festival was founded in 2014 as an anti-disciplinary movement for social change. The Festival has grown now to become a vibrant meeting point for tech, science and innovation, business and the public sector, culture, creativity and academia. This year’s Festival takes place over two days in a converted warehouse venue in Slakthusomr√•det, Stockholm. Gather gathers 100+ speakers and artists, and 1500+ conference guests, for events ranging from talks to co-creation, labs, performances and art; and the Gather Weekender brings 3000+ music enthusiasts to the venue for a weekend full of music – this year including artists like Lightning Bolt, The Avalanches and Octavian.

This year’s themes focus on taking an antidisciplinary look at the big questions facing our world today: how do we think and act green in an unsustainable world? How do we inspire ourselves and others to create lasting change? How is culture and the zeitgeist shaping our politics and our futures? What does revolution look like, and what does democracy look like, and what does capitalism look like, when we look to the future? Curated and bringing together thinkers and makers from around the world, Gather Festival takes us beyond siloes, looks at the world from a systems perspective and gives a platform to emerging voices who are taking a stand and refusing to back down.
