In this unique setting, and in her very colourful and unique studio, Nelly will share direct insights with the participants on some of the work that made her studio and her coined as the ‘manufacturers of the impossible’. Participants will be initiated to the practice of the ‘design of experiences’ learning some basics in design and critical design but also political theory. Gaining unique insights on the current space missions, participants will be tasked to speculate, draw and finally design (for real!) future gardening experiences. If their proposal is unique enough, it will win some unique Nelly Ben Hayoun Studios collector Patches, and a chance to be mentioned in a paper for the International Astronautical Congress 2020.
