Rich Mix, Shoreditch. June 2025. The countdown begins. The inaugural SXSW London blasts off, and at its vanguard? None other than the UK premiere of her latest sonic-visual odyssey: Doppelgängers³.

🪐 Doppelgängers³ is the fifth feature from the creator behind NASA’s International Space Orchestra and The University of the Underground. This latest experiment had its World Premiere in the Vision section at SXSW Austin in 2024, and now it returns to Nelly’s London roots for two unmissable screenings:

From trans activist Lilit Martirosyan to SETI’s Jill Tarter, and neurogeneticist Kári Stefánsson, this doc blows the boundaries of form. Featuring music by Pussy Riot, Colin Self, Asmodessa and Mirrored Fatality.

Backed by the BFI Doc Society, Sundance Institute, Sandbox Films and the Karman Project, Doppelgängers³ is the cinematic articulation of a movement—a refusal of extractive space colonization and a reimagining of planetary futures through eco-feminism, queer theory, and critical diaspora studies.
