Tour de Moon Ltd. is seeking an experienced Participant co-ordinator in Southampton. The ideal candidate will have experience working on festival touring at a nationwide and beyond scale.

Experience with nightlife and youths (18-25) and STEAM (Science Technology, Arts and Mathematics) is a bonus.

We are looking for a person in Southampton. In this job you would be working on one strand of Tour de Moon, which is called ‘Moon Experiences’. Moon Experiences is a large scale, immersive walk through event. Audiences will be led through highly designed, old retail spaces where they will encounter live theatre, a 12m video tunnel, a 360-degree sound and light show, and be driven through a lunar landscape. 

The project is a large-scale hybrid public installation composed of immersive and live events that will visit a few cities for Unboxed that is inclusive, pluralistic, playful, celebratory, and spectacular. The format follows an ecosystem of live events, digital experiences, and public realm interventions that will reach and engage millions of people across England, the UK and the world.

Responsibilities / Essential skills

  •  Sourcing 20 local people (who are also paid) to deliver various roles in Moon Experiences
  •  Working with the Producer of Moon Experiences to write the rota and manage it
  •  Be the first point of contact for all participants
  •  Work with the Producer onsite during the event
  •  Ideally you are aged between 18-25 
  •  This role requires you to be highly organised, adaptable to changes, well connected in the city and interested in events delivery
  •  You must be based in Southampton and be available on the following days:

Preparation: 4 days between now and 9th June 2022
Live event: 9th – 13th June 2022 

Deadline for applications: March 19th 2022

Interviews: March 20th 2022

Intended start date: ASAP

This is a fixed-term freelance position starting immediately until June 2022 with a trial period.

Salary: £150 p/day, at a maximum of 10x days work
