Director and designer of experiences Nelly Ben Hayoun will introduce her new project Disaster Playground, a creative platform investigating the design of emergency procedures in the space programme. Hollywood relied on Bruce Willis and a big drill to save the world in Armageddon, but how real is that and what needs to be done for the next major asteroid impact? As part of this workshop you will be asked to fabricate, design and perform the presidential speech following an asteroid impact. You will be asked to consider the following scientific, technological, political and operational questions and issues. BE THE PRESIDENT!
